What Time Does McDonalds Start Serving Breakfast

McDonald's usually starts serving breakfast between 4 a.m and 5:30a.m, depending on what state you happen to be in. Scrambling to satisfy your hunger for one of McDonald's tasty breakfast items before 10:30a.m. on weekdays and 11a.m, may soon become a thing of the past,as long as your mouth is watering for some hash browns, Mc Muffins, and hot cakes.

McDonald's to Test All-Day Breakfast

In April, Mc Donald's began testing out their new All-day Breakfast idea in San Diego, California. CEO Steve Easterbrook tested serving breakfast for the entire day out on customers of the 94 Mc Donald's restaurants in the San Diego area to see if the idea is successful. Eager to begin the experiment, Mc Donald's sent customers coupons through the regular mail and through email to promote this new concept. The plan was to base the All-day Breakfast concept on After Midnight Menu.

The Test Continues

Easterbrook surveyed the San Diego area to find that most of their customers from the 94 restaurant franchises loved the idea. Gradually, the All-day Breakfast experiment is moving its way across the country. This month, Easterbook is planning to test All-day Breakfast in Mississippi, and next month, Tennessee.

After Midnight Menus

Between midnight and 4 a.m, in addition to some dinner items, McDonald's serves some breakfast item at some of their restaurants. Just like the After Midnight Menu does not include every single breakfast item, All-day Breakfast will only be serving breakfast sandwiches all day long. Customers will still want burgers for lunch.
